A Little Longer
I had a longer workout this morning, probably motivated by the fact that I have a doctor's appointment today, a checkup with my primary care physician. :P I did 50 minutes on the elliptical first, then went 13 minutes on the treadmill for 1.18 miles (11:01 average pace), beating my total mileage for all of last week. I think I'm getting a little competitive with myself. Well, actually, that's not a new revelation! The whole thing about trying to beat each 5K time is showing my competitive self too, I suppose.

That's the name of the game ,,,,to beat each previous race pace!
But, lawdy...to run a long run like you did the day before the race? I couldn't imagine?
That's down right "cocky" sweetheart! I love it, I just wish you wouldn't have injured yourself.
Yeh, it was a little cocky, wasn't it? Maybe even a little stupid! ;-) Learned a good lesson that I'm still paying for. *sigh*
Wow - that's impressive! I wish I could be that competitive! my best half-marathon time was 3 years ago and I'm not going to beat it anytime soon. Nice job!!
Keep up the awesome work!!! It always feels good to beat your own personal best record.
