Tight IT Band

I returned to the gym this morning after a rest day yesterday, and had a pretty decent workout, though my left IT band is rather tight.

1) Rode 5.72 miles (35:01 min) on the recumbent bike
2) Stretched the IT bands for about 5 minutes
3) Walked 1.5 miles in 25:09 min. on the treadmill

I haven't decided yet whether or not to try to run/walk with the running group on Saturday morning. They'll be meeting at the American Tobacco Trail in Durham, a pretty easy course. Maybe I'll go and walk.

Funny, it's my left IT band too. Ugh. Dumb thing.
Good for you for even thinking about running or walking with your group on dog is luck if he gets a walk these days!
I think I'll get back to my spin class next week and then maybe (maybe!) try to run the week after.
