The Cary Road Race!

Here are pictures of George and me at the beginning of the Cary Road Race on Saturday, April 8! I've been working toward this for so long, that Race Day was a little bittersweet. George and I got there early, so we had a chance to walk around a little, chat with some other racers, and watch some of the 10K, which started earlier.

The race, itself, was challenging for me, and I wish I could've been more ready. I'm glad I did it, though! Some of the other racers were very encouraging, too. I like the camraderie.

Now I'm looking forward to my next race!
