I ran longer than I expected this morning, 4.67 miles on the treadmill in 50 minutes, for a 10:42 average pace. Not very fast. I did take a couple of rest/walk breaks. A muscle in my upper right leg is still surprisingly sore since the long weekend run and the race. I guess I'm still a little tired too. Pushing myself hard Saturday AND Sunday--bad idea! I feel a little impatient with my progress this week because of it. Can you tell? :p I just need to remember to listen to my body and give myself time to heal. I'm glad I didn't sign up for another race this weekend.
