Today's long run was on the American Tobacco Trail from the White Oak entrance, one of my all-time favorite places to run now, but it was a "grumpy" run! Actually, I was the grumpy one, not sure why, but I just couldn't shake "grumpy" loose this morning. Ah, well, at least I finished. It marked the end of this recovery week, so it was a pretty short one, 6.5 miles in 2:01:09.
I tried run/walking 1:00/1:00 for most of today's run for a change of pace. As usual, I started to fade in Mile 3 when my right toe bridge started hurting. *sigh*

These runs happen to all of us. The main thing is you pulled through and finished it.
Love the picture. I have had my grumpy runs too. If I'm grumpy before, I usually get happier during the run. But if I get grumpy towards the end of the run I keep it with me the rest of the day.
I am flying into Raleigh on August 21st and have Sunday and Monday to play before work. Maybe we can meet up? I'll have my boyfriend with me.
